Technical Advisor
 

Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the Technical Advisor greets customers and gathers the information required to identify and define their vehicle repair and maintenance needs.

In addition, the Technical Advisor sells maintenance services and organizes work schedules, while ensuring quality customer service.

Main responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and obtain information about their car;
• Open and close work orders;
• Pass on the correct information to the workshop technician responsible for the vehicle;
• Communicate with the customer throughout the process to keep them informed of the progress of the work being carried out on their vehicle;
• Explain the nature of the work performed and all costs to customers;
• Advise customers on how to care for their vehicle and emphasize the importance of maintaining it in accordance with the manufacturer's technical specifications;
• Establish a relationship of trust with customers;
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction;
• Perform all other related tasks as required and requested by management.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of mechanics ;
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to suggest, advise and sell maintenance add-ons to customers;
• Patient, calm and team player;
• At least 2 years' experience as a service salesperson
• Computer skills;
• Any combination of training and experience will be evaluated
• Knowledge of SERTI software (an asset);
• Valid driver's license.
